Idaho Panhandle Trip

We can now say we have period products IN girls' bathrooms from Bonners Ferry in the North to Malad City in the South. A total of 117 schools and 329 girls' bathrooms!
We met amazing educators who were excited to provide their female students with the ability to manage their periods safely and without embarrassment or shame. What a great trip to make a difference for our Idaho schoolgirls.
We discussed how to make this program SUSTAINABLE for the long run at each school. One of the amazing things we always run across is the community support that every school enjoys. Bonners Ferry has a Mom who conducts a period product drive at the start of every school year. And we always meet a counselor who pays for period products out of their own pocket.
Until we pass legislation for the State of Idaho to pay for period products IN school bathrooms for half of their school population in middle and high schools, we will continue to champion this program. If you have contacts in Burley or Twin Falls, we could use your help getting into those school districts.
Thank you to all of our amazing supporters that help us fund this program. We are not done yet!
