Farewell Idaho Period Positivity Coalition
In 2023, the Idaho Period Project and the SW Boise Days for Girls Chapter lobbied the Idaho State legislature in support of HB313 to provide "feminine hygiene products, free of charge, to all female students in sixth through twelfth grades". The bill failed in a 35-35 tie vote. Why We Do What We Do
We really don't need a reason to do what we do. Helping the girls and women of Idaho with their menstrual needs brings us great satisfaction. But then we get a letter like this: Thank you, Susan. Such a beautiful and thoughtful letter. I actually used part of her letter for a recent grant request: "Your support helps us ensure that every student feels cared for, respected, and equipped to show up as their best selves."
