Sometimes a story is best told by someone else. My friend and teammate, Doneta Stephensen, and I were interviewed by Margaret Carmel, BoiseDev Senior Reporter, about what our SW Boise Days for Girls Chapter is doing to support Idaho young women and their menstrual health.

Margaret shares how our story started -- with a visit in 2018 to Caring Hearts and Hands of Hope, a girl's school in Kenya. It changed our lives. And introduced us to Days for Girls and their mission to provide girls and women with menstrual kits, and education -- allowing girls to stay in school.
