Imitation Is The Sincerest Form of Flattery

The saying, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” certainly holds true! When our Days for Girls SW Boise Chapter learned about the Period Packs our partner, the Idaho Period Project, puts together, we knew it was a logical addition to the pilot programs providing free period products IN girls' bathrooms we were conducting in middle and high schools in the Treasure Valley.

These Period Packs provide vulnerable young women with enough disposable period products to get them through an “average” 5-day menstrual cycle during a school break. What peace of mind – knowing they can enjoy a school break without worrying about menstrual products.

Our first deliveries were to West Junior High, Borah High and Boise High with more deliveries going to Les Bois Junior High, Kuna schools and Kuna Community Schools. We are so excited to partner with them in providing our schoolgirls dignity and menstrual health while they enjoy a much-needed break from school.
