Our SW Boise Days for Girls Chapter is proud to support the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights in Boise by donating Period Product Workplace menstrual containers and period products for their Philip E. Batt Education Building.

During a student tour of the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, a teacher popped into the Education Building and asked employees if anyone had a pad or tampon for one of their students that unexpectedly started her period. They did not! Which spurred Dolly Higgins to contact our website and ask for assistance.
After emailing with Dolly about our Days for Girls Period Product Workplace program and how that would benefit girls and women touring their facilities, Doneta and I met with Dolly and our team donated product containers for their bathrooms plus a supply of period products.

To anyone who has not visited the Wassmuth Center, we encourage you to do so. It is amazing! The Center is dedicated to promoting human dignity and diversity through education. Their Dimension in Testimony is a facilitated interactive digital exhibit where Holocaust witnesses share their stories in real time. Doneta and I "met" Pinchus, a Polish Holocaust survivor. We can hardly wait to go back and meet other survivors and hear their stories!
One of Days for Girls stated missions is that "menstrual health management is a matter of human rights..." -- a mission that fits perfectly with Wassmuth's vision of an "Idaho where everyone is valued, treated with respect, and empowered to protect and promote human rights".
