This past year the Days for Girls Boise SW Chapter has been working with the Agency for New Americans in Boise. Often refugees come to our community with only what they can carry. This Agency welcomes these new Americans to Idaho and promotes resettlement, self-sufficiency and integration into their new home. To date, along with the Days for Girls Nampa team, has donated:
230 Days for Girls Kits, with 50 more being sewn by the Nampa team for our next donation.
Donated 12 sewing machines for accomplished refugee women to continue sewing
The Boise Cascade Print Shop has printed hundreds of Days for Girls educational tri-folds that are handed out with each DfG Kit in ~12 difference languages.
